I’m Philip Malan — Friendly Show-off
I’m an independent web developer and honestly I like to impress people. With design, strategy and tech know-how, I specialize in making brands look good on the web.
My journey began in a big agency, cranking out dosens of websites. Problem was, all the work we made were cookie-cutter layouts, had no strategy and was made by interns. This was not for me, I wanted to make beautiful websites that had real impact. So I decided to quit my job, to pursue a career as an independent web developer.

This was not for me, I wanted to make beautiful websites that had real impact. So I decided to quit my job, to pursue a career as an independent web developer.
And so far it feels like I’m on a roll. I have had the pleasure to collaborate with some talented people doing projects that I love. For big companies like Bestseller and Candeno to startups like Nordicfloat and Green.ai. I’m constantly evolving and learning everything from brand stategy to interactive layouts. At the moment i’m dipping my toes in marketing and lead generation, because I want to deliver top-notch work that gets results.
